CraftTech: Hybrid Frameworks for Smart Photonic Materials, a collaboration between The Hong Kong Polytechnic University’s Institute of Textiles and Clothing and RCA Textiles will be showcased at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London on 26 May 2018.

Invited Fashion Show: Dr Jeanne Tan was invited to showcase her work “ Urban Glow” at the Shishi Fashion Week in Fujian, China on April 20, 2018. The show showcases the newest developments in wearable tech and interactive textiles. The event is jointly organized by China National Textile and Apparel Council, China National Garment Association and China Fashion Association.
The Craft Tech: Hybrid Frameworks for Smart Photonic Materials is a collaborative research project by Institute of Textiles and Clothing, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and Royal College of Art.
The exhibition is at the Hong Kong Museum of Medical Sciences from 6th to 11th March 2018.
“Twist” showcased as part of joint artists textile designs at the Junichi Arai’s Textile Anthology Exhibition held at the Innovation Gallery, Jockey Club Innovation Tower, The Hong Polytechnic University from December 2017 to January 2018.
Dr. Jeanne Tan was invited as one of the guest speakers by Royal College of Art to give a lecture of interactive textiles and the relationship between craft and technology with regard to wearable technology.

Invited Exhibition: Torrent showcased at FABI 17th International Exhibition in October 2017. The exhibition was hosted by Korea Fashion Business Association.
Dr. Jeanne Tan’s work “Current” is exhibiting in the juried international exhibition – FIBER ART VIII International Biennial Fiber Arts, held by Sebastopol Centre for the Arts in collaboration with Surface Design Association in the USA. Jurors: Eszter Bornemisza Hungary, Wendy Lugg Australia, and Jason Pollen USA.
